What Drives Your Content?
As bloggers we are constantly re-examining the way we approach our audience through our content, and if you aren’t, you should be. Because just like the various fields we are working in, our audience is dynamic and changing. So we want to make sure that we keep our content evolving as well. With only 24% of online users actually creating content, we are a powerful minority.
We always want to keep our ideas fresh and exciting, and keeping an ear to the ground to find out what it is our audience is looking for. But overall, we have to remember to focus on and play to our strengths. We are the blogger. So effectively, we are the blog, in this case we must always be aware of what part of ourselves drive our content!
Play To Our Strengths
You are the blog, where do your skills lie?

If your strength lies in your sense of style and your ability to craft a look, then by all means, run with it! From the layout and flow of your overall blog, to the style of your posts, whether they be individually crafted or not (and you can craft those individual post styles with the Art Direction plugin and a little tutorial help from Chris Coyier), just let your skills help your content to shine. Style is not something that can be faked so if you have it, you will know it. Grab on tight, flaunt and show it!

If you find your metaphorical muscle comes from your imaginative wordplay, then by all means, indulge said smithiness and dive in head first! Your words can be a powerful tool for winning people over, and for opening doors they would have otherwise walked on passed. So be playful and whimsical in nature or direct and to the point. Wherever your inspiration takes you, let your words lead your way. Your content will appreciate it, as will your readers.

If you have a knack for being able to impart wisdom and reach people, then turn your gift on the blogosphere and share the wealth…of knowledge. Being able to explain things in a way that others can relate to and learn from is a wonderful talent, and it can drive your content to new heights. And this can also help to steer the community to exciting new places as well as so many turn to enrich and revitalize it.
