We were looking around the web, finding so many creative designs from the print side of things, and decided to share the inspiration love.
So we gathered some images of the imaginative creations from some inspired minds that appealed to our flame of inspiration to throw a little your way. Heads up! Wanted you to catch what we were throwing rather than it hitting you in the face. With talk of print design possibly becoming a dying art, we feel like these designers work could revive interest in this dynamic and often overlooked design field.
Nicolas Lesaffre
Duracell Print from the portfolio of Nicolas Lesaffre, is a visually stunning design that is both vibrant and playful! This was actually the piece that got the whole showcase rolling, so we thought, there was no better way to begin.

Aron Jancso
The various Typographic posters which Aron Jancso has compiled in his portfolio are wonderful contributions to the world of print design so we had to feature them.

Newblack
Speaking of whimsy, these Hello Oldskool Tributes from the portfolio of Newblack, have got it in spades! These adorable tiny companion creations made the list the second we laid eyes on them.

Atelier Martino&Jaña
The Jazz 09 Journal from the Atelier Martino&Jaña Portfolio is one of the most inspired publication layouts and designs we have seen in a while. We certainly hope this is the wave of the future.

Jared Nickerson
Your Time Machine Stranded Me In the Haunted Forest of Doom from Jared Nickerson’s portfolio is another brilliantly crafted design with intricate detail and depth.

Trapped in Suburbia
Where there is smoke, there is fire – publication from the portfolio of Trapped in Suburbia is an awesomely imaginative creation where they have transformed the concept through the design.

Chris Rushing
The various pieces in Chris Rushing’s Family Force 5 Apparel and Apparel-2 collections range from the whimsical to simplistically styled touching on several themes in between, and were a couple of compilations we simply could not ignore.

Greig Anderson
The Helvetica Calendar 2008 found in the portfolio of Greig Anderson may be almost two years old, but its awesomeness never goes out of date. So we went ahead and squeezed it on in.

Mike Giesser
The WOMR/WOMS – Poster Series is such an inspired creation from Mike Giesser that we felt it was a wonderful way to cap off the showcase of imaginative works. This one also goes out to all those typography lovers out there in the RSS feed!
